I didn’t set up the 12 Days of Christmas this year {honestly, I forgot to send emails out}, but I saw this fun blog hop and decided to do this instead!  Annnnnd maybe there’s a giveaway at the bottom…

Top10_square

Today’s topic is: Best Books I’ve Read in 2015 {in no particular order}

1. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff — If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard about this book, stop reading this immediately and go get a copy.  I swear you won’t be sorry.

2. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo — A heist story with world building and characters that only Leigh could give us. I loved this book more than I loved the Grisha books and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

3. Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone — Poetry in a secret room at school? Sign me up. This story is so much more than that and gave me so many feels. Tamara’s words are pure magic.

4. The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore — Sort of a Romeo & Juliet story with mermaids and wings and it’s all so lyrical and lovely.  I wanted to live in this world and never come back.

5. The Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett — Two MCs who are both so passionate about art and more snarks and swoons than I knew what to do with. I could read Bex and Jack forever.

6. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon — Maddy and Olly are perfection. So is the journey they go on.  Enough said.

7. Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher –The first book in a novella series that I devoured in less than 30 minutes and immediately wanted to scream because I was done with it.  Absolutely additive and I still have no idea wtf is happening.

8. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray — This came out in 2014, but I never got around to reading it until this year.  It’s got time travel that wasn’t confusing and an MC whose head I especially liked being in.

9. Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli — Just get a bag of Oreos and start reading now.

10. The Devil You Know by Trish Doller –Two hot boys and a girl who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself.  Lots of suspense and creepy scenes with an ending I absolutely loved.

Obviously I could have listed another 100 10 more. I had an entirely different half to the list, but decided to move some things around. Hopefully between the rest of the topics, I’ll be able to get all my favorites down.

Now.  Go enter the Rafflecopter to win 1 of the books listed above.  Giveaway is international, book will be coming from The Book Depository, and additional rules are here.

**Good Luck!!**
